Anderson Valley Senior Center received $1,273 donated by employees and the Bank as our October 2024 'Casual For A Cause - Denim Days' beneficiary. We are proud of the support we have been able to provide to local non-profit organizations since this effort began in 2012 with donations totaling $173,042.
Anderson Valley Senior Center, a 501(c) non-profit, has been serving the greater Anderson Valley community since 1973. The center promotes the health and well-being of senior citizens 60 and over, and disabled persons of Anderson Valley by providing vital services in the area.
It serves as a place for community activities and gatherings for all residents as well as providing a central meeting place for seniors and the disabled for nutrition programs, health education and monitoring, information and assistance, transportation, and socialization. The center seeks to alleviate problems inherent with aging, such as financial management, health and longevity, transportation, property maintenance, isolation, and loneliness.
The center encourages participation in the many activities it provides, including bus service, evening meals, Bingo, Yoga, health screening, socializing, exciting fundraisers, special guest chef dinners, dances, the annual crab feed, and more.
The center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from
