Two Worthy Events Happening this Weekend!

Don't miss Boonville Airport Day this Saturday, August 10th. 
Visit the airport on this Saturday for the annual Boonville Aviation Knowledge and Folklore Convention (aka) Airport Day. Festivities begin at Noon. You never know what is going to fly by, it could be a high speed P51 Mustang or a slow speed C 130. You may even get a free ride. If you like airplanes don't miss this small town airport event. If you are staying for dinner bring a pot for the potluck dinner at 5 pm, drinks and local beer provided. Corner of Estate Drive and Airport Road at the Boonville Airport. No RSVP necessary. A free fun day all about mostly small, old and home built airplanes. For safety concerns all dogs must be leashed. Further info call Cindy or Kirk at 707 895-2949.

And...On Sunday, August 11th The Anderson Valley Housing Association is hosting a BBQ at Navarro Ranch (5801 Hwy. 128, Philo) from 4-7 pm. The Anderson Valley Lions Club will be serving their famous 
Tri-Tip BBQ Dinner with all the fixins. Live Music by the Bob Day Quintet featuring Nathan McMath. Silent Auction and Wine & Beer available for purchase. $20 for dinner tickets.

And don’t forget to shop at AMAZON Smile when you’re doing your on line shopping. Select the Anderson Valley Senior Center and Amazon will donate a percentage of your purchase price to the Senior Center.

• Business hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 3pm.

• With the exception of the second and last Tuesday of each month's evening meal, lunch is served Tuesdays and every Thursday at 12:15pm. Evening meals are served at 6pm.

• Bingo follows the evening meal on the second and last Tuesday of the month. Dinner is served at 6pm.

• Easy Stretch Chair Yoga, instructed by Kathy Macdonald, is every Thursday 11am to noon.

• Young at Heart exercise is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am



Join us for Bingo Night the second and last Tuesday of each month. Dinner starts at 6:00, followed by Bingo around 7:00. Must be 21 to play, but you don’t have to be a senior to join us for Dinner and Bingo fun.

Through a generous endowment, AV Senior Center is able to provide reimbursement to drivers who volunteer to drive seniors to medical appointments. Contact the Senior Center for more info: 895-3609.
